The next video starts with what can only be described as a metal version of Beautiful Day by U2, before the band gets into Future Boy.
It is a great number and you can hear small samples of the Mac DeMarco sound, but it is rawer and rockier, and also has a cool video. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, and specifically Youtube, we can all hear Makeout Videotape! So you can only imagine my delight at discovering his band before he named himself after himself. His music has really resonated with me and I believe he makes refreshing, unique music and has a killer live show. I’m making no bones about it, I am a big Mac DeMarco fan.
